I can so relate to this picture. I would be in bed for months on end, taking pain pills. Pain relief was only enough not to push me over the edge. I would hold on to "this will pass" by this time next year it will be better. I started on Morphine 60 mg every six hours (sustained relief), dilaudid 4 mg for break through pain as needed, and to travel from AK to NH to have surgery I had a duragesic (8X stronger than morphine) 10mcg/hour and even that did not stop the "crazy" pain. I would be in such pain, I could not even bath for days. Pain was worse after surgery, than before surgery. PNE & IN (Illioinguinal Neuropathy)post op recovery 2 to 3 years...Me at 21 months, 30 mg of Morphine sulfate everyday, only, yea..I'm getting there by God's grace, only. Only good thing about PNE, I read the Bible a lot as a result I became closer to my Savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ. Also met other very nice Christian people, whom suffer from PNE.
